The Vernon Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot is coming! RUN, TURKEY, RUN! Check in is 7:00am. Race starts at 8:00am. Each year, Vernon Recreation hosts a Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot to raise funds and collect non perishables for the Harvest House Food Pantry located in Sussex, NJ. The Harvest House Community Lunch Program was established by 13 Vernon Township High School students in 1997 as the VTHS Hunger Project and is a nonprofit 501c(3) corporation that continues with its mission to prov…
