About the Overdose Awareness 5K Run/Walk
Walk. Run. Remember. Recover. Each year, Phoenix House California hosts this event to remind us of the devastating toll of the ongoing opioid crisis. In Los Angeles County alone, fentanyl was involved in 94% of opioid overdose deaths in 2023. Behind each number is a life cut short, a family grieving, and a community in need of healing.
