About the Miles for Merrick
Join us Saturday September 19th 2026 at 9 am CST for our inaugural Miles for Merrick, a community 5K and 1 Mile walk/run. We are the parents of Merrick, Macy and Michael Maldonado, and we are creating this event to raise awareness for lissencephaly pachygyria, a rare neurological and genetic disorder that affects brain development.
