The 8th annual Lake Norman State Park Trail Race offers a 30K and 50K on smooth, rolling single-track trails at Lake Norman State Park, with no repeated loops and about 1,600 ft of elevation gain for either distance. Both events have a 9-hour cutoff and start behind the park Visitors Center.
