About the I Thought Turkeys Could Fly 5k
This will be the sixth running of the “I Thought Turkeys Could Fly” 5k. The proceeds this year will benefit the DUMA Food Bank. The USATF certified course will begin and end on North General Lee Ave by Tyler Park in Dunn, NC. The course is flat and fast with only 56 ft of elevation change and a downhill finish. The race is scheduled for Saturday November 8, 2025. The race will start at 8:00 a.m. and will be chip timed. Medals will be presented to the top 3 overall female and male. Age group med…
