About the Dr. Dennis Branch 5K Run/Walk
This 5K Run will benefit the Tennessee Picnic in honor of the late Dr. Dennis Branch who was a prominent African American Physician in Newport TN for nearly 50 Years. Dr. Branch became nationally known as a guest of honor in Hollywood on the Ralph Edwards Television Show "This Is Your Life" in 1958. Dr. Branch passed away in 1964 leaving his legacy as a prominent Physician. He was 77 years of age at the time of his death. The 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday August 1, 2026, 7:30 …
