About the Doggy Dash 5K
In honor of Anders Elmblad, we are proud to host the 3rd Annual Doggy Dash 5K. Anders passed away in 2024 at the age of 25 after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. During his time at Michigan Medicine, the therapy dogs brought him comfort, companionship, and moments of joy. To honor Anders’ life and continue his legacy, we are raising funds to sponsor a new therapy dog at Michigan Medicine through the Paws4Patients program.
