About the Doc's Run
Every summer, dozens of Camp Menominee campers and counselors gather together on the last Sunday of Camp for "Doc's Run". Years ago, camp doctor Ken "Doc" Miller was on his annual visit to Menominee and wanted to start getting in shape. So he started to walk around camp. That walk eventually turned into a jog, which then became a run as his endurance grew. Each day he would go out for a run, and eventually he took that run off-campus.
