Race is happening on a Thursday afternoon The Splash and Dash Race is an aquathon consisting of a 1.5km (1-mile) swim and a 5km (3.2-mile) run for adults. And 200m swim (out and back) with a 2km run for the youth category ( 11-15 ). It is a fun, community focused, grassroots event. There are timing chips, transition is not fenced in with guards, and spectators, kids and dogs are encouraged. The swim is in Stevens Creek Reservoir right outside of Cupertino, CA.
