About the COVE Benefit Beach 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run
The COVE 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run begin and end at Charles Mears State Park. All of the races will be officially timed by Runners Edge Race Timing. The 5K Run/Walk race route includes a combination of pavement, dirt road, with a 1/2 mile on the beach to the finish line. Participants may get their feet wet if it is a windy day with high waves on Lake Michigan. The 10K Run route will be on local streets and pavement until the runners reach the beach at Duna Vista.
