About the Black Forest Ultra
Black Forest Ultra is a self-supported 100K trail race through the Sproul and Tiadaghton State Forests in the Pennsylvania Wilds, run on a lollipop course that reverses direction each year. Starting at midnight from Hyner Run State Park with no crews, pacers, or spectators allowed, runners face roughly 13,400 feet of climbing and a strict 19-hour cutoff on rugged, rocky singletrack.
